In my 21 years of life i’ve never been to a club or had any desire to club. All that changed this past weekend when i met up with some friends in Philly.
Lemme give you a little background on that day’s events. Initially, I was going to NYC to pick up “Mr. Green” from work & have a nice weekend together. **record scratches** i overslept & missed my bus so my plans were pretty much shot. Instead of driving to Newark i made plans to go to Philly to have dinner & drinks w/ some friends before they hit the club. As fate would have it, “Mr. Green” persuaded me to go to the club since he would be doing the same in an effort to spend some time with me 🙂
So I book a room for the night in Philly & begin packing. I tell everyone to expect me to arrive around 6 but you know black people are always late lol. I wound up leaving at 6:45 & got to the hotel at 8 where I was greeted by Mike, Eric, Winston, Dewayne, Kevin (The Skorpion) & company. I was lowkey in groupie mode when I saw Kevin & asked him to take a pic

After a shower & an update on the location of “Mr. Green” we hit up club Shampoo for ‘First Friday’.

All in all, my weekend was amazing! I enjoyed my first clubbing experience, LEARNED HOW 2 WOBBLE, had some QT w/ the boo & overall enjoyed the company of great people 🙂
